We need your support emotionally, financially, and physically.
Emotional Support
People throughout Williston are getting excited about building one of, if not the biggest and best playground and splash pad in North Dakota. This is a great benefit to the Williston Community Builders and the Project Team tasked with the day-to-day work of making it a reality. It shouldn’t be that difficult for the entire community to get behind the project emotionally. Who can watch kids playing at a playground without smiling at all the happy faces they see? Who won’t swell with community pride when they take their out-of-town guest’s children to play at the playground for an afternoon?
With fall closing in and winter right behind it, this community playground is a great winter project for all of us in Williston. Talk it up, talk it often and if you or someone or some group you know would like a presentation on the project, contact Williston Community Builders at www.communitybuildersnd.com to arrange a presentation. Everyone in Williston has a chance to get on board.

Between a Rock and a Soft Spot
Williston Community Builders knows there are many in Williston with a big soft spot in their hearts for kids and at the same time, have a strong desire to improve the quality of life here. Like the new saying goes…..”Maybe we can't all swing on the swings, but we can all push”.
Money Makes the Merry-Go-Round!
For those looking to support the project with a large donation from themselves, their family or their business, Williston Community Builders has the perfect option. Large field rocks will be placed at the playground entrance to recognize major donors. Additionally, bricks and pavers will create the pathway to the playground and, like the field rocks, will include donor names and memorials. In the end, everyone involved will be told... "Thanks... you Rock!" Contact Williston Community Builders to schedule a presentation and learn how you can leave your legacy to the young families and children of Williston.

“Build it and they will play”
Our community has come together many times to fund many things, but this project is that and more. This will also be a community built playground. The spring of 2010 will be when the “nuts and bolts” part of the project will begin. Everyone will be able to volunteer their time and talents to help with the assembly of the playground and the organization of volunteers. Local builders are already on board to provide expertise, equipment, tools and oversight to make sure the project is put together professionally. There will be plenty of little jobs that need getting done. So, let’s get some families, some neighborhoods, some potluck clubs, some friends together and have some fun getting it done! Check back right here in early 2010 for more information and to learn how you can help.
